is it possible with Cmd to change the directory to another drive using cd, and if it is how i have tried and it doesnt stay in the drive and it shows C:Need help with windows shell?
Don's use CD. Just type the device name. Example:
c:/%26gt; D:
d:/%26gt;Need help with windows shell?
yes;
to go to drive d, type:
D:
and that's it.
Not with CD.
CD is short for Change Directory.
At the command prompt you can change drives (like d: or e:). But CD only changes directories inside the drive in use.
