How do you change directory permissions using a simlpe FTP?

I need to change directory permissions to 777 on some folders that I have uploaded on my website via FTP just the normal simple default one. But how do I change the permissions????How do you change directory permissions using a simlpe FTP?
Most FTP clients have such ability. Any particular program you're using? If it's a GUI client, then usually you just right click the file and it will give you the option to set permissions.How do you change directory permissions using a simlpe FTP?

Once you right-click the folder/file in your Remote FTP pane, the Context Menu should have something like ';Change File Permissions'; or may have the word CHMOD in it.
