How to I change dos command prompt to a different drive?

I have a program that will only work from dos/command prompt but it is stored on a drive other than ';C:\'; that automatically shows in windows 'command prompt'.

I know how to change directories etc but how do I change the disk drive from 'C:' to 'F:' or 'G:' etc or do I need to load a dos prompt program or something into my F and G drives? How to I change dos command prompt to a different drive?
Simply type F: in the command prompt, followed by Enter.

Example :

C:\Windows%26gt; D: (Enter)

D:\%26gt;How to I change dos command prompt to a different drive?
odd?

i thought it was just a simple:

cd E:\

to change to the E drive for example just like changing directories
