Change installshield temp directory?

No matter where I install it says I need more space on my C drive, I like to know how to change this because I have plenty of space on D and E. Any clues?Change installshield temp directory?
1st it sounds like you are using 3 hard drives,its ok.

if that is the case,transfer your largest files to your other hard drive.

that will free up space for you.

what you should have done to begin with,is when you download send it to your slave drive and open it there.next you should create a shortcut to your desktop or wherever you want it.

that is how you keep the master drive optimal with a low use of memory and clutter.Change installshield temp directory?
InstallShield should be following the Environment Variable ';TEMP'; to get the temp directory path. To check or edit your TEMP environment Variable:

1) Right click My Computer, select Properties

2) This step will be a little different depending on which version of windows you have. Look for ';Advanced System Settings'; or a tab marked ';Advanced';

3) Click Environment Variables...

4) Change the TEMP environment variables to a location with more space. You may have entries both in the user variable area and in the system variable area.
Set your temp directory - in your environment - to D:\temp (and make the directory on the D drive).

But you still need space on the C drive to install programs - the registry can't be moved, and programs install to the registry (that's what ';install'; means, it's not just copying files).
