How do I change the default installation directory?

Hi,

I'm trying to install NET Framework, but it keeps trying to install to D:\windows

I want it to install to C:\windows, because that's where my windows folder is located. (There no settings in the installer to change directory)

How do I make it install to C:\windows?

ThanksHow do I change the default installation directory?
Try the following but be careful :

Control Panel, System, Advanced and at bottom, Environment Settings

In system variables, modify ';windir'; with c:\windows

Apply and install but be sure to revert modification if any problem encountered
